Zhengzhou High-tech Zone welcomed an internationally renowned event - "European Enterprises' Henan Tour - Entering Zhengzhou High-tech Zone and Industry Matchmaking Meeting" on April, 2025. The matchmaking meeting was jointly guided by the Zhengzhou High-tech Zone Management Committee and the Foreign Affairs Office of the Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government. European energy storage market: opportunities and challenges amid explosive growth:

Europe is experiencing a critical period of energy transformation, and energy storage technology has become the core support for balancing the power grid and improving the consumption of renewable energy. According to industry forecasts, Europe's new energy storage installed capacity will exceed 25GWh in 2025, an increase of more than 85% year-on-year, with Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and other markets contributing the main growth. At the same time, the EU's "REPower EU" plan proposes a goal of 45% renewable energy by 2030, further promoting the demand for integrated photovoltaic and energy storage. Germany has increased the mandatory energy storage ratio of photovoltaic power stations to 30%, and it is expected that the cumulative installed capacity will reach 172GWh by 2030. Overall, the European energy storage market is still a blue ocean with huge potential.
